Hmm...Virtua Tennis 4 or Top Spin 4? I prize realism as much as possible. Ticket stuff looks...novel and the map looks kinda crazy but it gives me a bit of an arcade-y feel, and I guess Top Spin 4 has more licensed stuff (small but important detail to me) and a more true to real-life career mode. Anyone play Top Spin 4 and have thoughts?

@Jtan21: There's a reason why Top Spin 4 got good reviews. I definitely would recommend it over Virtua Tennis 4, especially if you want a less "arcadey" game

I wanted to see Ryan's guy take it bad, throw a tantrum and his raquet, claim he lost the match, and not that his opponent won. Ryan did a good job putting together a real douchebag. But nooooo, he was nice and a gentleman in the end, probably scheming on the pretty lady...damn Virtua charactors! He's probably making it with her right now and winning a mini-game besides.

@Jtan21: I'd lean more TS4 since it places more emphasis on realism.  The mini games here might help increase longevity but if you want less arcade and are willing to get down with almost solely tennis matches I think Top Spin is the way to go.  And not sure if you care but some of the legends in it seem impressive (Sampras, Bjorg, Agassi).

I prefered Top Spin 3 over the last Virtual Tennis game.  I haven't playe TS4 or VT4, but based on this quicklook I think I'll end up sticking with Top Spin.  Having said that, it is not a game I would consider buying at full price, so once it hits that $20 mark, I'll get my tennis fix.

It's funny how much better received Top Spin 4 was but Virtua Tennis gets coverage on this site.  To be fair Davis does cop to that so I feel better.  Still really curious to see Top Spin 4 get a video or two.

I actually really like the look of the board game stylee World Tour mode. Sure beats grinding through a calender and fits in well with the game's more arcadey feel. Game ordered.
