Quick Look: Remnant 2

Glad you guys have been able to connect and play together. I am unfortunately plagued by a bug which doesn't allow me to play co-op with anyone, friend or random. Pre-release is a huge mess right now. Hope they can get this stuff solved asap

@thedrumkid92: not sure on your situation but my friend found that his firewall app was blocking remnant without any notifications. I have been playing with two other people since friday and we hadn't had any issues for contrast. hopefully whatever it is for you is resolved, its a lot of fun imo.

@ichi_: Thank you! I resolved it by completely deleting my hard drives and destroying the partitions and starting from scratch. Worked a charm!

lol but seriously, I figured out it was actually Microsoft OneDrive. Fucking ONEDRIVE

I was surprised to see them enter a different world than the one I got thrown into, but that’s something the previous game did to some extent. My first area is Scorn-like and perhaps not ideal for my melee character. The one on this QL seemed really Bloodborne-ish with the xenophobic enemies.

I agree with Dan that the start is really slow and rote, and the game would benefit more from throwing you into shit earlier. Overall it seems like a solid B game that will eat up many hours for me this summer.

@topcyclist: Yeah, it's been a problem for months now. It's sad. I just watch the occasional stuff on Youtube now since this site is completely busted.
