Been having a whole lot of fun with this game on my Switch

There's something in the animation on this that I really like.

I ended up enjoying this game waaaay more than I expected to after having a relatively middling time with its predecessor, Retro City Rampage.

Been playing this on Vita since launch. There's not a lot to it. I really wish the driving controls were more involved with a handbrake/power slide or something.. Also the screen doesn't zoom out enough when driving fast to give you a chance to avoid collisions... but i guess you can just plow through stuff...

Played it Through on Switch small little game, which I enjoyed quite a bit to my surprise, love the squishy sound when you drove over people, but yeah not a hard game the police was to easy to avoid, but it was kinda fun that way, when you could just drive people down, with the police driving right behind you.

That's the kind of feedback I needed. I played through RCR and thought it was fun enough but more a reference-machine than a truly solid game. Between the QL and comments like this I'm more interested.

Getting a Streets of Rogue vibe from this.

"Shakedown Hawaii" has the same cadence as "Hotline Miami" so I doubt Ben's the only person to mix them up.

Wasn't mentioned in the video, but Shakedown Hawaii is available on PC as an Epic Games Store Exclusive currently! I think it'll be coming to steam after approximately a year.

And just to add to this: it's currently $10 (or your local regional equivalent; in my region, a full £10) off of its normal price as part of the Epic sale, meaning you can pick it up for $10/£5 on PC. Apparently, Epic's eating the cost, so the devs still get the full cut.

The Switch would be the perfect platform for this, buuuut I'm not sure I can resist that price!
