@aseinsha:I kind of want to see them try that since its a tough enough expansion playing on your own, let alone passing the controller along like they're doing here. The fact that it would probably wipe them out so quick is why I want to see them try that

@jibbajabbawocky: exactly, i mean honestly I'm not even sure if it will be possible since when I play solo, I try to play it as safe as I can, (most of the times) on normal, and I usually end up save scumming hard.... they do not fuck around....whatever happens im sure it will be pretty damn entertaining to watch though haha

30 seconds in and alex is representing how I felt seeing dan dismiss those people

First turn of the mission and I don't know if I even want to watch Dan play... Feels like Dan wants the series to end.

Vinny made one of hell of an intro this week. Even with the delay, totally worth it!

God I love this show.

Oh boy, this sure was a classic Commander Ryckert episode. Sacrificing Don Rickles in order to ambush the Exalt operatives on the second go at the covert operation was pure genius. Some may doubt his tactics and brash decision making, but that Ryckert fella seems to know what he's doing :D

All of the exalt stuff they added looks like it super sucks. Terribly balanced with confusing tactical objectives and a dull strategy layer element.

I read this before I watched. I spent the next 1/2 hour laughing my ass off. I actually thought he had hisusual good luck.

So we're past the shtick one and fully into the "i don't give a fuck anymore" of Dan's phases

@pumpkinking42: I mean, he didn't set up the mission that comes next, if that's what you meant. I'd say that's just a chance thing.

Vinny and commanders you are starting to accrue a lot of bodies that can be autopsied, I would suggest to save time, launching the next satellites on South America to receive their Continent Bonus, before performing the autopsies.

Abby sincerely good luck, either things get pretty dire on your episode or Alex gets passed the hot potato.

@alvarofaraujo: I'm pretty sure that bonus is interrogations and not autopsies. From how they've been playing I'm pretty sure we saw our last interrogation.

I fascinating how, even after Vinny's pointed this out during the mission, they keep sending covert operatives out with only the starter pistol.

I love Dan but his episodes are starting to be the ones i skip through. He doesnt even try to think strategy which usually I would find funny but my love for this game makes me hate him a little.

If you attempt a raid on the EXALT base (which can be a tough mission) before knowing exactly which country it is in, and you guess wrong, the country you raid will immediately leave XCOM with no warning.

It's almost like Dan forgot what game he was playing at the start of that mission. "Oh... oh boy. Yeeeah. Sh-shit. This is... this is rough.". :D

Also thanks Vinny for finally coaxing someone to build a foundry. You will be pleased at the new equipment available after it's built.

That is definitely Dan playing.

So the list of potential Exalt base locations are currently Mexico, Egypt, Nigeria*, Russia, France, Germany, China, and India. Looks like they'll need more more intel before doing the assault.

*While Nigeria has English and an official national language, the XCOM wiki says it does not count for the not English speaking country hint.

This is a good idea.

In case it wasn't clear, the Covert Ops screen actually marks off all the countries that have been excluded--the player doesn't have to figure them out from the hints on their own.

Since XCOM 2 is based on the humans losing, and the aliens taking over, if Dan gets everyone killed, does that mean he…wins?

Does anyone know how close they are to the enemy raid on their base? Internet says it happens 10-20 days after the alien base assault.

@knaws: I think it's safe not to assume red text is a suitable deterrent to just buttoning through text warnings for this group...

How is possible that Dan is simultaneously the best and the worst?

Forget thinking more than one move ahead, Dan isn't even coordinating moves he's doing within the same turn

Also the whole cargo cult thing about just assuming how the mechanics of the mission work even though he has no evidence for it
