I've never been more relieved to listen to a Beastcast in the privacy of my own home. This episode was amazing.

The voice modulation should be a reoccurring segment.

Totally agree. The first thing I thought was, "Why doesn't Horizon suck then?"

I don't think it's fair to cry "Old Dan" because he doesn't like Assassin's Creed games. Many people dislike them. I really dislike them. I feel it's the most over rated series in video gaming for many reasons I won't bore people with.

Lay off personal attacks because someone doesn't like what you like.

The exact same was said about Bayonetta 2 and the Wii U.

Top ten singular podcasts I think I've ever listened to. I couldn't contain myself at work, and with the earbuds on, I got a lot of curious looks from the coworkers.

This is why I avoid listening to this podcast in public - everyone on my train thought I was some kind of psychotic for trying to stifle my laughter! Damn this was a good episode... if only 'Best of Giant Bomb' included audio bits...

Also as someone who likes the majority of the AC games, Dans opinion isn't super far off and everyone complaining about it is a baby.

Okay, whenever Dan feels like playing a character in the future, I hope it'll be Jeremiah, cause that was actually very funny, unlike his previous character.

Dan thinks Metal Gear has the greatest story ever (swaths of anime bullshit full of holes and retconning). Calls the AC story the worst in gaming.

Man, Dan's assertions about Assassin's Creed were aggravating. I get that it's his opinion, but he comes off as such a jerk about it. "They should know it's my opinion" is not a good argument for being that bullheaded.

That garbage diving story is straight-up disgusting. No amount of explanation can make it anything but that. You should value your health over a few bucks.

The voice improv bits were funny, but I hope they don't overdo it. Margaret was already getting to the point of being overdone by the end, in my opinion.

Glad they killed the kiss on the cheek segment as it was. Hopefully the new method is enough of a deterrent for most listeners, but knowing this community, that's not a certainty.

Just because it wasn't said, doesn't mean Playstation exclusivity doesn't suck. Maybe it wasn't said because PS4 is the market leader? Seems like the market leader gets a pass in a lot of these situations.

Is making a white, blonde male character in a game with a character creator so odd if you are a white, blonde male? People like to make themselves. The fact that Abby pointed that out as worth commenting on gives me bad vibes.

Or I'm thinking about it too much and should just shut up. Who can really say.

I always find it a little hypocritical that everyone gives Dan shit for voicing his opinions as facts when Jeff Gerstmann does this all the time and no one seems to mind.

That Jeremiah segment was hilarious.

All the people complaining about how Dan criticized Assassins Creed, that's his job, he is a professional Video Game Reviewer. His word should stand as solid fact, he isn't some random comment troll, if he is doing his job right he is positing himself as the Roger Ebert of games, his (educated experienced) Opinion is fact.

Dan is an idiot, admittedly so several times over, he likes Wrestling (ACTIVELY!) and admitted to not having any tolerance for RPG's until he was 25. Still, he can't be expected to preface every opinion with "I feel that" or "I think this." We tune into this content to hear their opinions and personalities. I know Dan is consistently wrong, all the time, despite his evolution over the last decade.

By the way all the Assassin Creeds games are garbage except II which is now trash because every other game has eaten it's lunch.

And Dan's quote about not liking game's up their own ass might be in the 99th percentile of Hypocrisy, Ever!
