The Giant Beastcast: Episode 34

If you guys read the Game of Thrones / Ice & Fire books and did a podcast series on it, that would be...awesome.

I really want to see a picture / specs on Vinny's home server.

Vinny seems fascinated with the idea of actual interactive VR Porn with polygonal characters.

Well, last I checked, some Japanese developers were working on that, including peripherals.

The future of VR is looking pretty good.

Vinny's "I roll in these circles" and then him trying to defend it was pure gold.

Alex is such a downer. He craps on everything and his faux outrage at everything is grading. He makes me not want to listen to this podcast. Shame given everyone else is upbeat and fun, especially Viinny.

Just catching up on this podcast. with regard to the rockstar "horror stories" I recommend everyone read the book "Jacked" by David Kushner (apologies if someone has mentioned this). He also wrote the book "Masters of Doom" (about the id story). Both are easy reads and will keep you in til the end (read both in a couple of days).

I realise I am late to the party commenting on this, but I have to say this anyway in the hopes that it will be read. I really like the Beastcast, it's easily my favourite podcast to listen to, but this episode in particular was a little grating, at least early on (I am maybe 40 minutes in). Everyone is talking over everyone else. You ask Bakalar to talk about CES and spend the next 15 minutes interrupting him and each other with quips and questions which would likely have been answered had he been allowed to actually say anything. I mean, mostly it's funny, but this was a little much I think. Let the man talk! And keep up the good work :)
