The Giant Beastcast: Episode 94

It's funny that Jeff complains about so many early-game issues (climbing, dying often, etc), that are eliminated the more you play the game. I can currently jump-climb almost any mountain, and most enemies aren't a threat, even big ones. It makes total sense that you would be limited when you first start out, as it forces you to be more creative with your approach to things (which Jeff doesn't seem to want to do). I should also mentioned that I have currently only beat one temple, and have explored less than 2/3 of the map. So it's not like I'm in the crazy late-game. Also, I have no issues cooking food for 5 minutes, and spending 10 seconds to apply a buff before a fight or a climb. It's honestly not nearly as much of a hassle as Jeff makes it out to be. Could it have been done better? Absolutely, but as is it is perfectly functional, and doesn't take long when you get used to it.

Yeah but that tax rate and that price on everything not incredibly nessecary like say video games so much since you are paying for that health care for that guy over there not working on something society values. Give me American Capitalism any day over that.

I mean @jeff I hate to disagree with you but (1) I like to get everyone's opinion of questions so I like sending them to both podcasts will stop doing so though as per your request. (2) I thought Zelfy was pretty funny (3) I also thought Dan Ryckerts TCYOA was pretty funny.

oh I am so glad they went to dick on the semi rigid member for the wii u tablet...as that was the first thing I thought of (oh what a great time for a call back to that joke) ... someone send help.

The Vita + PS4 cross save thing -- I get why they would say "you already have cloud saves - why doesn't it just always look to that save no matter which version you play?". -- Not sure if this is why the engineers at Sony did it -- but i will give you TWO reasons.

ONE, not everyone cloud saves; at the beginning of many games it says "would you like to do cloud saves" and I usually say "no". I would assume someone without PS+ could still cross save, but not have cloud saves? The way in either of these scenarios to sync up a save would be their option for asking you to load/save a cross save. They aren't going to do both (automatic AND ask you). (Cross save also seemed to upload faster than cloud saves in many instances).

TWO, what if i want my version's saves to be separate, (perhaps my girlfriend is playing Helldivers on my Vita), but every time i load it up now, since it saves to one cloud save - it just takes her last save and applies it to my game. As you can see, automatically doing cloud saves could be even messier.

If you have spanish speaking friends, that part at around 18 minutes where Jeff is saying some spanish words. Please play that for them. That culo and pendeko part had me in tears.
