you're right in terms of the first season. this time around, there were three difficulty options--casual, professional, and master? I forget the last one but there were three there. professional is normal-ass hitman as we've come to love it two years ago

All I want from Murder Santa for this Hitsmas is a big heaping pile of Giant Bomb Hitman content.

Hitman was really good, so I'm ok with a sequel that builds on that solid base rather than attempting a leap. I wouldn't know where I'd want them to leap to anyway.

Glad they’re bringing back the picture in picture from older games, I always liked that!

The Robot referencing a line from iRobot was a nice touch.

Can't wait for the travel log! Copenhagen is one of my favorite cities. Hope they went to Christiana.

Aw man. I so wanna watch this but don't want to spoil the game so bookmarking this until i've played it.

Skipping this until after I get the game next month so I can go in fresh. Dan seemed to suggest he had a lot of videos of the game, so I'll grab them after launch.

Travelogue!

Likely, the level that was played by Dan, will soon be the demo level everyone will get to play before the game is released. At least that's what they did when Hitman came out.

Man, this looks pretty damn good. I haven't played a Hitman game since Blood Money, so I'm probably going to be a little rusty when I play this.

In addition to visiting Danny for the podcast and whatever GB related thing that may be happening on NoClip, this is a pleasant surprise.

Huh, when's the last time GB did international travel to see a game early? They usually openly shit-talk and avoid these sorts of "fly to this far away place to see the game" trips because of how inconvenient it all is, but also I assume to keep their hands clean of any sort of payola accusations. Not to mention, they lost Jan (and to a lesser extent Dan, I guess) for a few days, which has gotta affect the GB workflow somewhat.

I expect a Dan/Jan Travelogue video of them exploring Denmark by the end of the week.

@cooljammer00: On the other hand, this is the sequel to Hitman. I might go as far as to say the single most loved game on the site in the last few years. So I don't blame them too much. :p

I'm actually bizarrely interested to see where the plot goes in this one, which is a new feeling for me regarding Hitman.

@smallville123: Obviously they should have called this game "H II tman".

I expect to see the head of Marketing's resignation on my desk by tomorrow morning. Also let's not mention Red Dead Redemption 2 or Forza 4 or anything like that.

I am really looking forward to watching some fresh Hitman content on the site! I really liked the last game, but I only played the first two levels or so. I might need to go back and play through that before this one comes out. Mostly, though, I'm looking forward to seeing some more Hitman being played by the various members of the Bomb Squad. I heard we're calling them the Bomb Squad now, so I'm going with that.

Looks good. Building on top of what they had with Hitman 1.

That said, they patched Hitman 1 to a place where it takes quite some bullets before you go down, it seems like they kept that around. Feels like Dan was able to power through just a bit too much while playing on the 2nd difficulty tier. Although, i bet Master will still drop your ass within a few bullets.

I'm really looking forward to this, but I'm worried that by doing a full release during a busy holiday season it might get overlooked by a lot of people. The episodic structure for the last game really seemed to keep Hitman in the public consciousness for a long time.
