For anyone getting some bizarre old-timey deja vu from the guy who says "Here she goes" in the weird monkey kid short, that's Edward Everett Horton, best known (to me) as the narrator in Fractured Fairy Tales from the old Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon.

The short itself is also bananas (ba dum tsh). It's just a bunch of kids wearing monkey masks getting brutalized and it's about morals, or something.

I don't know if this is a well known thing or not, but here's a good way to deal with fruit flies:

Get a small dish, pour some apple cider vinegar in and then one TINY drop of washing up liquid. Get some cling film (Saran wrap for you yankie-doodles), wrap it tightly over the top and secure with an elastic band. Poke some very tiny holes for the flies to get in and voila. Fruit fly trap.

The sweet smell draws them in, the washing up liquid displaces the liquid and they get stuck. Welcome to dead fruit fly city.

I love it when (almost) the whole gang is together like this, and Matt just fits in so well with the crew. I'd love to see him on the site more!

This was one of my favorite UPF's in a while! Thanks for joining Matt. I feel like he has such good insight into video games, not even because of VO work - he just clearly loves gaming too.

@maikeruwiruson: Sundew plants are nature's foolproof fruitfly killer - really small footprint for the impressive effect it has on them. All they need is a small spot on a sunny windowsil and regular rainwater/de-ionised water.

Just sharing an alternative method, I expect yours is effective too!

Matt really brought the SFX heat in Rifftrax. Sometimes a funny noise is better than a well-written line.

Every episode of UPF needs a live animal cam from now on. The people demand it.

House of the Dead is the arcade cabinet I spent the most money on as a kid, and that bat boss is an astounding little quarter-eating fucker. I really liked all the alternatives for your path through a level. Really its only defect was not having a sick Time Crisis recoil light gun.

Fun fact, owls are actually not very intelligent.

Rifftrax seems fun if you have people with some chemistry playing it
