One of the best things on the site. I love the talk about the drum kit and discovering new songs through this feature, crazy how huge rockbands library is.

@purewarrior8: He didn't actually play the double bass parts. As Alex said, it was charted to just the one pedal so he was playing half of what was really played on the track. It's a tough song for sure, he fucking killed it regardless!

Man, I'm a huge punk / metal / rock dude and I find it always funny how there's such a tiny overlap between Alex's taste and my own taste. It's like everything he tends to not like I love and viceversa.

I try to pretend my tastes are pretty refined, but I'm a dirty sucker for songs like Bring Me the Horizon's Mantra. Inane, catchy lyrics, grizzly bass hooks, cymbal-heavy agressive drumming.

I know it's shit, but it's my shit.

I make no exuses for that bridge though. That was something else.
