Wei Shen is a dangerous man. apparently he can also survive really horrible crashes and impacts without a single scratch. with this in mind, i am issuing a challenge to the fine folks of Giant Bomb. i merely ask you all to do one thing. i'm asking you all to fly.

my challenge is simple. head over to Kennedy Town, bring a fast car, drive off a certain ramp and bail out. watch Wei scream and soar through the sky and see if you can go the farthest.

here's an example of what you should do, and it also happens to be my best attempt:

this is some silly thing i created after messing around upon my completion of Sleeping Dogs' story mode (which was pretty awesome.) in order to participate, you require the following:

• a device that can take video. camera, fraps, dazzle, whatever. i just wanna see it.
• a Youtube account would be nice, too since we can see your attempt.

while not required, a fast car would be ideal, and praying at a lot of health shrines beforehand to increase your max health would help out if you happen to soar really far and take a dangerous fall.. unless you find it funny when Wei gets killed. also, the prize for getting the farthest is absolutely nothing. probably some bragging rights, but that's about it.

anyway. that's the best i could do. what about you, Giant Bomb? post your attempts and let's see how good y'all can do. the London 2012 Olympics may be over, but the HONG KONG OLYMPICS still live on.

@sate2801: @AjayRaz I was going to say how to get the timing right but I suppose it's more fun to figure it out for yourself. I had some good bails trying to get it to work. You should get a faster car, though. A Class that shit up!

Here's my most interesting unsuccessful attempt. So there was a run where someone hit the freeway sign with Wei? I've got something better worse.

Messing with the radio station channels too much ruins stunts.

On my fifth attempt I got something... different. Don't know if the bail is considered too late, though.

@Bigandtasty: holy shit. that fifth attempt was amazing. although.. that just proves that what i've created is flawed because, well.. i can't tell how far you are if you bolted into the ocean. regardless if the bail was too late or not, it still counts.

May I suggest a way for measurement? Try to put a custom waypoint AT the jump then do the trick and then you can see how far away from the waypoint you are giving you an actual distance. In theory that sounds like it would work.

@Demoskinos: i've been thinking about that too. it sounds like it could work out well, but i'ma have to try it and see how it works out. i'm just thinking about changing it so it's just the best human stunt, but i'll check out that distance thingy before. thanks for the suggestion!

I got this, not sure if you count bikes though.

Youtube is still working its magic though so it's not yet 1080. - Oh also the sound is out by like a second, cause something went funny when I was recording.
