    fun game

Sonic Unleashed has been getting a lot of bashing on the 360, which I disagree with. With 360 version getting bad scores, I might as Well review the Wii version. It still as the same problems as the 360 version, as well as it’s goods. The game’s story is the same with Dr. Eggman splitting the planet and a being called Dark Gia being released, and Sonic turns into a werehog. In order to save the Planet, Sonic must travel to different temples and restore the powers of the Chao Emeralds. The story is a typical Sonic story and no were as convoluted as other’s. Sonic Unleashed is splitting into 2 gameplay elements. Daytime, where you play as old blue, and night time, were you play as the werehog. The day time levels are fun and fast with the classic style. What I mean are those levels with all those tense, zigzag, loops you love abouts the genisis games. Sonic also has new abilities like drifting, dodging, and bursting. It’s all great. With the help of Dimps helping in making these levels, the Wii version has some better levels than the 360 version. Problem is that these levels are too short. Then there are the Werehog levels. The good is that the controls are good and these levels are much shorter than the 360’s levels, but there’s too many of them, and the hit ditection is a bit off. The actuall combat isn’t bad, it can be fun beating the crap out of things, it’s just that there’s not that fun. Making you wounder, when your gonna get a chance to run fast. Sonic Unleashed Presention is well done. The levels are varied, and never repeate. Sonic’s dezien is good, but the Werehog looks bad close up. The audio is good with great music, and the voice acting O.K. Sonic Unleashed for the Wii improves some of the 360’s version, but has it’s problems. Either way, it’s still a good game. You’ll have fun with either version. But, as IGN said in the review for the Wii version of the game, “Sonic Unleashed is truly one part amazing game and another part pointless gimic.”

So here's some history, Sonic the Hedgehog debuts on the Sega Genesis in 1991, the year I was born. After this they had Sonic 2, 3 and Sonic & Knuckles. But after this change happened. The Nintendo 64 was out, the Playstation is out and the Sega Dreamcast eventually comes out with Sonic Adventure. This is the long-awaited successor to the Genesis' Sonic & Knuckles and about time too, but to no surprise the game is a success and a fantastic game. Afterward comes Sonic Adventure 2 and base...
