IGN just dropped their review. 8/10 which makes me hopeful that the game is decent. Game Informer gave it an 8.5.
 
The review mentions a lot of unlockables which I'm a fan of. Game is supposed to be 8-10 hours long.

oh wow, definitely better than I expected. I love me some spiderman, so i think imma check this out. 

I loved Web of Shadows and most of the Spider-Man games except for Spider-Man 3 and Friend or Foe so I will probable pick this up when I get paid this Friday.  Can't wait to hear Stan Lee narrate a Spider-Man game again.

I'm getting this for Wii, as it's the only platform I have that has this game. Well, technically, I also have a DS, but this game is like Web of Shadows for the DS, and I found it too confusing for a Metroidvania-styled game... Whatever. I hope the motion controllers are not too shoed-in. I'm hoping for something like Metroid Prime 3: ocassional use of gestures, but main control scheme focused on traditional button control.

Games graphics are better than the last few in that it's very good and the game doesn't feel rushed at all.

I'm watching my brother play it right now. It looks pretty okay! I'm excited to play and review it.

Feels like it was written by a 9 year old though..

IGN video review mentions a nearly game-breaking bug in the final boss battle. Sounds a lot like Web of Shadows in that respect.

besides the Noir parts isn't it just god of war?

I've never thought that it plays like God of War while playing it.  Spider-man games have their own feel to them.
 
So far I'm really liking what I'm playing.
