Ok, so I have installed the game, using Steam. 
I have the .exe version of the Mod downloaded directly from the Mod's website. 
Every time I run the file it says it cannot find my installation of Stalker. 
 
Anyone encounter this error and have any tips of how to get it to install?

Have you tried locating the path file to your Stream folder?

Steam (launch & exit the game at least once, check for version 1.0005 and install the mod, start a new game after)

Try the steam forums for the game. Im sure someone there has done it

i had a the same problem, in my case it was because i had not run the game only downloaded it on steam. After i ran the game i was able to install the mod, don't really know why it worked.

Yeah  I have run the game once. It still tells me it can't find the game installation.
