I totally agree! Hopefully some discussions will pick up once all the reviews come out. So far it's got a 9 and an 8/10 from a couple of smaller sites and Rock Paper Shotgun did a 'Wot I Think...' which was extremely positive.

Hopefully we get a Quick Look at some point. The Super Meat Boy quick look was great, I'm sure this would go down just as well. Are we able to suggest it to the guys?

@SuperLuigiBros: Man, it's only been 2 years since Super Meat Boy came out, yet somehow it feels like ages and ages.

Anyway, yeah, it sounds like this game has an interesting SMB vibe where you will die frequently while you try to figure out a particular room, but it's all a result of you getting a feel for how to execute your plan of getting through the room. It seems like the sort of game where it is appropriate for your character to die easily, compared to something like Pid where you die very easily and it's completely at odds with the sort of game it feels like it should be.

Just saw this on Steam. I really enjoyed what I played of the free version back in the day and was kind of confused as to why they wouldn't let me pay for it.

Oh well, time to rectify that!

@PollySMPS: The original game only had 28 levels, whereas this has 80 and they're all brand spankin' new. The overall level of polish is much higher. A few youtube Let's Play videos are slowly popping up, so it might be worth checking them out of you're worried about it. But it's definitely much better than the original release!

I'd love to see a Quick Look for the game as well, but I imagine everyone is too busy playing games for GOTY discussion. Seems like a strange time of year for a game like this to be released. It'll get buried by GOTY discussions and WiiU talk. I picked up a copy on Steam, but haven't played it yet. I hope it has enough legs so that people are talking about it next year.

You have read my mind, I'm interested in what brad thinks of this game in particular.

I want to buy this, but I still haven't played more than an hour of Mark of the Ninja, which I should finish first, and I am kind of hoping Stealth Bastard will hit GOG.com... No news on that, yet, though...

Oh man, if I lived by your logic I would have 50 less games on Steam that I've never played and saved hundreds of dollars! Oh, wait ... :(

@jessej07: Haha. Well, I literally have hundreds of games I haven't played yet on Steam, GOG, and my consoles... However, I tend to only "over buy" when the games are on sale. If I'm paying full price for a new game, I want to make sure I'm going to play it and make the full price ticket worth it.
