After nearly a decade in hiatus, Capcom's signature mainline fighting game series resurfaces with its fourth main installment, combining the traditional 2D gameplay with modern fully-3D graphics.
I don't think it is right now,but it might be ported later. That's what Capcom did with SF4, so perhaps they will do it this time as well. Frankly, an arcade release is far more important. The top Japanese players mostly play at arcades, so getting an arcade release for this game will really help the Japanese players out, since they have to go out of their way to practice against the console characters.
I'm pretty sure it will be down the line, but right now they got more important things to worry about like, all the new shit they have to add in SSF4 much less when the PC port will be.
SSF4 will probably end up being for PC as a retail game like the console versions. No way this would be DLC or a patch for the PC version since it's a completely new game.
Well if you read closely in the article on eventhubs, they mentioned having to "re-tool" the programming for xbox and ps3 regarding the tag matches and etc. So im not sure if i misunderstood it or not but its seems they are working on the pc platform since I would assume its the easiest platform to do these add ons with. anyways.. I uninstalled SF4. PC sf4 competition is just dryer by the day now.
