For some reason I couldn't make a poll, but the question is which system are you getting this for and why? Just curious because there are quite a few exclusive characters for the ps3 and I was wondering if anyone would get the 360 version (that is if you have both consoles to begin with, if you only have 360 that wouldn't be a difficult decision lol).

I only have ps3, so that's what I'm getting, which is fine since you get the exclusive characters on that one...lol

PS3 version because I have a fight stick for that console. Extra characters are nice but the most important thing is which console I have the fight stick for.

I have both consoles and fight sticks for both. Still getting it on 360 because the online is just so much better there and most of my friends will get it for 360.

I played all of Vanilla SF4 and SSFIV on ps3, I started playin on 360 when AE came out and wow, what a huge difference.

Online play is so much better on 360. I remember on my ps3 I rarely got more than 3 hits when searching for a custom game, and on the 360 I usually get around 6-8 hits.

And then there's the whole lag-on-ps3-issue

It's a shame about the exclusive characters but they will be banned in tournaments so I wouldn't play them either way if I bought the game for PS3.

I guess PC and Vita should be options but those are released way later i think(?)

i actually have a dual stick that can be use pc/360/ps3 so that has never been a problem, but i only have a ps3 so lol

I am getting it or 360 because I feel it has a larger pool of players to play against online.

The extra characters in the PS3 version don't sway me at all. Fat mega-man, no thank you.

It also helps I have 2 sticks for 360 so I'm kinda invested in fighting games on Xbox.

PS3. Only because I want to troll people with BBA Megaman.

I was going to get it on 360 since I have a fightpad and stick, but the extra characters on PS3 make it a no brainer.

My Playstation isn't even hooked up and I really don't wanna hook it up. I have a ton of friends on Xbox that'll probably end up getting it, I'm invested in achievements, PSN can be eh, and I really don't care about any of the extra characters.

So yeah, definitely getting it on eggsbawks.

Ps3 even thought I don't care about any of the extra characters, it will be nice to have them. more importantly though, I lack any fightstick so the Ps3 controller is better for 2D fighting games.

PS3 because fuck paying for XBL. I only own a 360 for Alan Wake, better Bayonetta, and Tales of Vesperia anyways.

360, its what my fightstick is for and I don't play enough to have friends on either one. BBA Megaman is beyond awesome though.

360... because I only have a 360. You bet I would be lining up to play as Megaman on any other occasion.

360, just because I prefer playing multi-platform games on there. But those extra characters on the ps3 version are tempting, thats a shady business you're running there, Capcom.

PS3 cause more characters, free online, and thats where all my friends are.

Inorite? I mean all those timed exclusive deals that Microsoft has had on games and DLC (ie Rockstar games) were totally fine, but Sony crossed the line with these extra characters!

There is zero reason to get the 360 version unless that is your only option.

@PixelPrinny: Well, it seems like Microsoft doesn't care much for exclusives for multi-platform games. Sony is much more on the frontline with that as of late. Its a preference, I'm sure the game will run perfectly fine on either console.

I wanted the extra characters, especially Mega Man, but my only online fighting game buddy only has a 360, so I gotta go Xbox for the team battles. I also have two SF Fightpads for the 360, even though PS3 controllers are just about as good for fighting games (I'm saving up to get an arcade stick).

360 because it's what all my friends have. And while more characters are nice, I'm really not going to be playing anyone other than Yoshimitsu and Zangief.

@Chango: I think MS has cooled down in the last year or so, but they were definitely all about paying for timed-exclusivity on multi-platform releases like GTAIV DLC or CoD map packs. I agree that such tactics are pretty slimy, but I can't really fault Capcom's PS3 SFxTekken exclusivity deals any more than how Rockstar did it with Microsoft.

PS3 just because that is my Fighting Game Machine. I have all current and PSN Capcom and Neo games on there. The only thing is the .5 frame lag on SSFAE on the PS3 means if you play at all in Tournies there is a little bit of adjustment. As of yet there has been no Frame counts on SxT but it is MT Framework and UMVC3 doesn't have a dropped frame.

Anyways, I'm getting it on 360 because I have a good stick for it and the online is better. Plus the Bonus characters I care about are coming to 360 eventually.

I don't have a 360, so PS3 version for me.

PS3. I might of gotten it on Xbox but my Live ran out and I don't want to pay $60 to play it online. The bonus characters sweeten the deal but I'm assuming those will become DLC for Xbox later down the line.

I'm not getting it, but the lead SKU for this game is definitely the PS3. You should definitely get the PS3 version.

PC date is May 11th, not going to double dip again when it's slated to come so soon after. The console versions look rather ugly at 720p with all the aliasing too, will at least be nice and sharp above that with 16xAA.

I loved SF4 & SSF4 AE on Steam. So fast and easy to jump in for a few quick matches.

I own both consoles but will get the 360 version, simply cause I buy most multi-plat games on 360, prefer Xbox live as an online service, enjoy using party chat when I play, and don't care about the extra characters, in fact I'm kinda glad I won't have to fight those annoying little cats on 360, I'm terrible at fighting small characters usually.

I'm buying 360 because that's where my friends are and it's also the console I own an arcade stick for. But if I had a stick for the PS3 I would definitely consider getting the game for the PS3, since that's where you get the extra characters and the local 2 player vs online 2 players co-op that seems to be missing from the 360 version.

well now that its been kinda-sorta-leaked that 360 will be getting the dlc characters too...its really up in the air to what you have and where your buddies are at lol

anyone who is buying the 360 version should be warned that there is no 2 player online co-op mode.
