Is feeling like this normal? Or am I just clinically depressed and suicidal? See, I spend a lot of time at my job... and lately we've been playing a different radio station. This station has been looping the same 10 'popular' songs all day. I listened to these songs for 7 hours today. Every time I would hear a song twice, it took everything I had to NOT lock myself in the bathroom and slit my own throat!

Well it is either depression mixed with suicide, or the urge to kill people. I suggest you tell that to the assholes who change the station to keep the shit off if they don't want to see a load of dead bodies scattered around the floor.

Thats so funny, at a previous job i had the same thing happened to me. I was the only guy in an office full of women, and no matter what kind of compromise i would suggest we always had to listen to a country station. Now i listen and like all kinds of music, but once you have heard the fuckin same song 5-6 times a day (i was working 10hr shifts at the time) you just want to strangle everyone. So no its not you, its the rest of the dumb asses listening to worthless shit, excluding eminem of course.

Seriously dude, that is just the most horrible thing I can imagine.  Single Ladies is THE worst song of all time and to have to listen over and over again to all those really bad corporate pop songs would drive anyone with musical taste to suicide.  No chance you can slip earphones in and play an iPod?  Any chance you can use earplugs and muffle it as best you can?  You have all my sympathies man, but I am afraid, no sympathy could alleviate that pain.  Thank SpongeBob I listen to my own music 60% of the day and the rest is usually bearable "classic": rock and pop that is forced on me.

I had a job where we listened to the radio, it's enough to drive a man to madness, I'm not kidding either.

I feel your pain. A few years ago I was working in a retail store, and Nickelback had just released an album. I forget which album it was. 
 
I was working 8 hour shifts.
