The one thing this game lacks is leaderboards, so let's make one up for ourselves. This was my most recent run:

Used nunchucks+, boomerang+, and remote bombs with fire magic. Got killed by accidentally pressing down over spikes, which in turn wouldn't let me double jump over them.

I think I love this game. Like, a lot.

I'm almost ready to challenge the game on Hard -- here's a quick run of me finishing the game on Normal. Final score was 389,610.

Got this last night. I can reliably get up to the final boss now, but Arbarghus' Domain starts to kick my ass after about 100 floors. Loadout was laser sword, token gun, spike bombs +, and fire magic.

Also hard mode is exactly like normal, except you only get one try and you get access to Arbarghus' Domain in the end. Makes the game way more arcadey and fun.

In all seriousness though, I somehow managed a ridiculous breakthrough. I played so long I started getting a little bored and honestly decided to off my poor, brave ninja. I doubt if I shall ever manage that kind of score again (and that "Lowest Floor" indicator is TOTALLY wrong -- weird.)
