I use a fair range of characters in Brawl, playing with a pretty competitive gaggle of friends.  I'll usually compete with Link, Zelda/Shiek, Mario, Sonic, Pikachu, Pokemon Trainer - maybe a little Captain Falcon/Ganondorf every now and again.  I can win with many of them, and I like them all.

But since Melee, my main dude is Marth.  I am ruthless with him, always pursuing the next hit, made highly convenient by Marth's speed, high jumps and the span of his sword.  Marth and I are a feared combination at a weed-fueled Brawl tourney.  Sometimes, I even scare myself.

Luigi, Ganon, Dedede.
Luigi is fast, aerial, and can pull off 80% combos.
Ganon has his dunk, Warlock Punch, and some nice combos beside his amazing power.
Dedede has incredible recovery, especially for a heavyweight, pretty nice attack speed for a heavyweight, good range on his Direct Specials and nice combo finishes.

Ike because he is Ike.

Metaknight. I just feel that he is a good, fast character. Dimension Cape has gotten me out of some sticky situations.

Great long range play but still a good quick melee fighter.

the second I started playing with him I started pwning.  I don't know why, but everything about Lucas is just awesome...he doesn't look like he could hurt anything, and then BAM baseball bat to the face with some PK Fire on top oh that ;)

And surprisingly to even myself, I've started playing as Yoshi as well, I love his b-air and his f-air, the longest distance throwing eggs are useful as well.

I really vary quite a bit, but I mainly use fox and falco, and if the mood strikes me Marth. Snake is just fun to use, because he is really different from everyone else, and if I'm really bored I will be ganondorf and go in an online match and just warlock punch all over the place

Mine is probably Pit because that was the first character i started playing, but now I play with toon link a fair bit.

Pokemon Trainer is my favourite.  The day I got hooked on Pokemon back in grade 2 was the day I got hooked on it for life.

I change mine to link because of his smash.

Snake!

I love the MGS series and his playstyle in brawl is really cool. Homing rockets, mines and stuff make for a fun time.

I play Marth or Ike good speed, power and great moves.

Marth, but I like to play as Sonic too.

Wolf. He's just a beast.

Pit is my favourite character. His flight abilities are intense.

I bounce between Ike, Link, and Lucas depending on brawling conditions.

I'm utterly irked over Sheik's unruly controls in Brawl, as she was my main in Melee.

Marth is my favorite.

Ike. He's just awesome.

Hmmm, i would have to say Wolf, Meta Knight, Luigi, and toon link.

I really like Diddy Kong because his combos are pretty sweet and he has a wide variety of attacks. Also am pretty good with Sonic and Snake.

Yoshi. I leaned him because since no one else does people are not used to his moves

Sonic and Diddy Kong.

Pit. He's pretty fast. His arrows are great range attacks because you can arc and loop them however you want to strike your enemy. Plus, he has the best recovery in the game. His gliding and flying abilities can really work against enemies, put to proper use.

I dig Metaknight because he dices fools up and Zero Suit Samus cause she's quick and a hot blond.

Wolf, because he's a stronger version of a Fox... lol

It's hard to choose, but I think I would say King Dedede.

Zero Suit Samus.  I can do some pretty awesome aerial combos with her.

Just because I always picked him in Mario Kart 64, because he seemed awesome, mario`s evil side.

Wow, Ganondorf is actually my least favorite.

I like Captain Falcon and Kirby. But my opinions are invalid because I suck at Smas Bros. games.

I like Fox a lot.
He is a cool character who seems to have a lot of martial arts inspired moves.
Donkey Kong is good also, he is an straight up power brawler as i would call him.

Zelda/sheik....Love them, hate the final smash

Definitely Ike. He's got power (his F smash can KO at, like, 30%) and reach in a lot of attacks which can help keep fast characters like Fox and clones at bay. He's also got a few moves like his Bair, counter, and A combo that come out fast (I often spam the A combo and it works well after a side special) that can surprise players hoping to take advantage of his lack of speed. He has decent edge guarding with is Aether to deal with foes coming in high and Eruption for those coming in from the side (It also hits below the edge) though I usually use his spike (Dair) if I can because it's just cool.  Aether is an awesome recovery move, maybe not because of distance (which isn't bad) but because he throws his sword first which strikes anyone who happens to be edgeguarding and makes room for Ike who comes after. Over-all, he just feels right for my style of play.

I like pretty much all of them ;) but I tend to choose characters that are faster, although pack less of a punch...Meta Knight, Pit and Diddy Kong are my favs...however, I also have a blast using Ike, hes got soo much power, and isn´t a slouch either ;)
