The OST for Brawl was pretty extensive and had some really awesome remixes on it. Does it seem like this game has enough tracks in it, or is it a smaller selection like Melee?

The soundtrack is definitely different between the two systems. In one of the earlier Miiverse updates Sakurai showed that the Wii U stages would each have a handful of songs like Brawl, while the stages in the handheld version would each have only two songs like Melee.

There's lots of great music, some of it is reused from previous games, and the WiiU soundtrack will be a lot bigger.

Good to hear that the Wii U version will have a bigger soundtrack. Still a bit sour that they're holding it ransom behind purchasing the game twice, though. All music should be available on Bandcamp or official websites or something. Just make it easy to give you my money, dammit.

Seems alright. Judging by how many songs are listed in its vaults there's certainly a hefty selection, though some I recognise from Melee. It's got some Mega Man 2 tracks in there as well as Sonic's Green Zone theme at that.

One that's always stood out to me just by playing the game is Ness' stage's theme, Magicant.

Has a sort of melancholic quality to it that stood out to me, and mixing the stage theme with the sounds of a young boy getting beaten up when fighting against Ness... Kinda felt a little weird, not gonna lie.

@yummylee: Like a punchier Midna's Lament. Or Midna in DIstress. Or whatever it's called officially, there are so many names for it.

It has this song so it's the best Smash soundtrack so far.
