Does anyone know how the length of the team shield app is determined? Is it a set number of health points or is it a set number of seconds? I can't tell if I should pop it as the mission starts or wait until a fire fight.

@BlaineBlaine: It's a damage buffer. It stays on untill a certain amount of dmg is taken. So if you want to you can pop it right at the start, this way it'll start recharging as you kill enemies from the start.

How do you pop apps in co-op? Does it just automatically happen when you hit left or right on the d-pad? I can never tell if that actually does anything.

@WilliamHenry: Left or right to select it and then hold down LB or L1 to charge it up when you don't have anything else targeted.

All of the apps are quite useful, if used appropiately. I was in an expert run of the Atlantic map, and this guy practically solo'd the damn thing with the C2C healing. He would run right into the mob of agents that come out at the end, activate the healing, and just soak up everything those guys could dish out, including the guy that packs the minigun.

@VisariLoyalist: Weird reasoning - Reboot seems like a crutch to me, wouldn't it be better to have a defensive application like Shielding instead and just not die as much? :)

Maybe I'm playing too conservatively :P

I only use reboot on one of my load outs, and even then only sparingly...but I get the appeal. Fully upgraded so you reboot with half energy and a shield you can then be human bait to split up clusters of agents.

Realistically, no other app will help isolate an agent. Hitting one with a virus won't make him chase you, but standing there like a bullet sponge will make one close the gap.
