Because they seem like a horrible scam seeing how they don't actually come with ice cream:

So yeah the deal is you sped about $3 for six chocolate flavored taco shells, with sprinkles, and chocolate sauce included, but you have to add in your own ice cream. It's the same deal for the "dessert nachos," in that they come with the chips and cinnamon flavored sauce, but no ice cream. Also I just want to go on record and say that I think those chocolate shells looks hideous, and unfortunately I couldn't find any pictures of the dessert nachos.

Oh and I should say that these aren't being sold in Taco Bell. Instead they are being sold at discount retail stores like Walmart and Target. Seeing how I don't really spend that much time in those sorts of stores I'm wondering if anyone has seen or tried these. Is this the next Oreo Dessert Pizza?

That Oreo Dessert Pizza is one of my guilty pleasures. Yes, I am a terrible person.

Dessert pizza is fantastic but a dessert taco? No.

I'm not in favor of those kits or Oreo Pizza, but I'd fully support Taco Bell bringing back the Choco Taco to their menu.

You know what? I feel the same way about Burger King's bacon milkshake...so yeah, I understand completely.

They don't even include the ice cream? Luckily I always carry a pint of vanilla ice cream with me where ever I go.

How do you get the ice cream in without breaking the shells? You'd have to own a soft serve machine.

It's a personal policy of mine never to eat anything with the word "kit" in it.

I'm not sure how you would get ice cream inside the shell without breaking it, unless you really melted the ice cream -- and who wants melted ice cream?

Why not just buy a box of Choco Tacos?

It's Taco Bell's test to see how much you truly hate yourself. The less your sense of self-worth, the more likely you are to buy ice cream specifically for the purpose of filling those stupid taco shells.

Something about this seems... wrong, somehow. You should try filling one with taco meat just to see how that goes.
