I want to get The Cave. It seems cool. It has a Linux Build on Steam. Team Fortress 2 hats. All nice. My friend wants to get it on PS3 though. I think he's wrong but I'll relent in the name of being able to play co-op with a friend. Will I be able to play with him? It seems highly unlikely but noone's actually said anything about it yet. It seems logical that the PC platforms can play with each other.

Not only is it not cross-platform, it's apparently offline co-op only.

@The_Ruiner: Portal 2 I think. But yes, I knew the answer was no, just had to be sure.

Bizarre there isn't any online component, it's not like Double Fine hasn't done online multiplayer before.

I'm pretty sure the PS3 version of Portal 2 lets you co-op with people on PC.

Oh disappointed that this is offline co-op only. Seems from the QL:EX it seemed like it would be more fun in co-op.

If it was online co-op it may get annoying when someone will just take the camera or maybe lag could mess it up. Local seems fine for this kind of game.

Yeah I played the demo in singleplayer and it was terrible man. Controlling 1 guy at a time pretty much means you have to walk each stretch 3 times. I had to repeat a puzzle a few times and and going back and forth for what felt like a million times really sucked a dick.

If it was online co-op wouldn't everyone's camera just center on themselves?

@TinyGrasshopper: Guy said he didn't want to have people doing their own thing while playing the game. Unless I miss heard during the QL.

Shadowrun was the first game, it combined PC and Xbox 360
