    The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

    The first 3D Legend of Zelda game, Ocarina of Time was created for the Nintendo 64 in 1998 and introduced innovative mechanics such as Z-targeting as well as many of the series' other trademarks. It has frequently been ranked as the greatest game of all time by many publications.

    Now that the game's out, what version is it?

    Ocarina of Time had several editions come out, each with some changes, right? The first revision removed Ganondorf's blood, and the second removed the Islamic chant from the fire temple (or maybe it was the other way around). Which version is the 3DS? I missed out on the first-run cartridges when I was younger.

    I believe it includes all previous changes from the different releases and then some, the Gerudo have the new symbol that looks like a spanner and there is no blood.

    the original Gerudo symbol was very close to an islamic symbol for something and much like the burger cream ice cream logo it got pulled 
    Also the oroginal track contained the words " there is no god but allah" apparently quite clearly

    it was only the first run version 1.0 the N64 cartridge has 2 or 3 different changes over time.

    @buft: I remember the symbols now.
    I can understand why they would change it, but the moon and the star aren't really a islamic symbol, as it offically don't really have one.
    The closets thing is the Arabic fancy text, to put it bluntly.

    Was the original a golden cartridge?
    I remember majoras mask being golden, but not OoT, at least not on launch date or?

    @amir90: The only way to get a golden cartridge of Ocarina of Time was to pre order it. It was the first pre order bonus in the gaming industry if I can remember.

    Some of the first blood I'd ever saw in videogames was from Ocarina of Time. Made it the darker and serious parts even more dark and serious.
