Are both games worth $20, together? I absolutely loved Link to the Past, and just about every other Zelda game, but $10 per GBC cartridge seems moderately steep for some reason.
Somebody who has played either or both games, please reply with a "yes" or "no" accompanied with a "<why>."
Thanks.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
Game » consists of 3 releases. Released May 14, 2001
One of a pair of Zelda games released simultaneously for the Game Boy Color. Oracle of Ages gives Link the ability to travel through time.
I am about to lock in a deal on both this, and Oracle of Seasons.
Together they might be my favorite 2D Zelda games of all time.
Pets are cool, a bunch of neat items some of which you never get in any other Zelda games, and a lot of side quests to do.
Definitely a quality purchase.
Dude, I haven't played either, but it sounds like a great deal to me. I've always wanted to try them.
I own both and I would say they're worth the twenty, quite long games and a lot of fun. As to haggling, he sounds ok with it, I wouldn't try to go any lower though, and if you feel bad just go with the twenty.
I haggled him to $18. He said $20, originally.Don't haggle anymore. It was cool he dropped it down to $18 for you, so go for it, man.

20 dollars is like 0 dollars. I spend 20 dollars on random bullshit I don't need on the daily. So I say if you want it, buy it.
They are both good purchases and probably my favorite 2D Zelda games, if you have a 3DS you might be able to get them cheaper when they are released on the Virtual Console but if you don't or don't want to wait it seems like a fair deal.
Btw, when you get them, pick one game to finish first since you can input a password from the finished game into the other one. This will let you start with an extra heart, let you meet some of the characters from the game you finished as well as fight the "true" final boss and get another ending.
Okay, never mind.

@RockmanBionics: Oh cool, thanks for that bit of info. I read an old IGN review of the games the other day, and the reviewer recommended Seasons first for difficulty reasons, so I may as well start with that.

I've only played Ages, but I can assure you that the game itself is worth $20. Don't hesitate on the deal.
