From Game Informer:

Not much else, but I'm glad to see that we might find out what happens next in the story this year.

I hope they just continue to focus on different groups of survivors. Like I dunno Clem is a fantastic character but going back to her would be just to easy.

I want a whole new group of survivors, but I do want Clementine to eventually show up in an episode.

Well alright then! If it'll be the same format as the first season then I will most likely once again blindly purchase its Season Pass.

Considering it will take many months for them to release the entire game this isn't so surprising. Cool beans.

I guarantee that this will not meet the expectations put upon it, regardless of how good it is. Also, I will probably still buy it once I can get the entire season for $12.

I hope we get an older Clem to show up at some point in the story. It doesn't have to follow her, but she needs to make a cameo and needs to be okay.

As long as this gives the devs the time they need to make another great story then i'm totally onboard.

Awesome.I would really love to see TT seriously upgrade the Telltale Tool; I mean, it's always been a shitty engine, but they're definitely in a good financial situation now to fix it.

They will released it this year?! I wonder if it is not a little too soon, as much as I liked the first season and want to play the 2nd, I don't want them to rush the development.

If Clementine is back, I hope she is much older. Hopefully they won't play the "Take care of the kid" card again.

If it's like most Walking Dead properties the story is going continually be stuck in the same-ish time period with no real resolution. I think I've seen and played the best the series is likely to offer.

I'm thinking Molly might make an appearance, possibly even as a focal character. It was kind of abrupt how she took off before the die off of main characters

Awesome news! I seriously wasn't expecting a 2013 release at all, I'll definitely be buying the season pass this time around.

I think that this season is definitely going to feature all new survivors and I'm not sure how I feel about that, Clem's story will certainly continue in that bridging episode(5.5?) that Garry Whitta mentioned, but I hope it doesn't just end there with her character. I'm all for a Clem-centric adventure but I'm sure that Telltale will want to change things up a bit.

This is lovely, I really was bummed when i heard 2014.

I think Clem has to show up in this next iteration. Maybe not right away, but she has to be there.

What I'm really hoping for is that they make a big time-jump and you play Clem as like a 17-year-old. I bet they can't do that because of some bullshit canonical reason, but a man can dream.
