It has been over a year and still no Conviction on PS3. This sucks because I loved Chaos Theory and Double Agent on the 360 was amazing as well (imo) but since I ditched the 360 two years ago (well it ditched me) I haven't been able to play this.

So is there any chance of this being ported to the PS3?

If not then I will have to wait until I buy an Xbox this summer to play it.
(I'm not buying it only for Splinter Cell.)

Doubt it. The game did not do that well. Why port a game that did not do amazing (think Bioshock) to another console.

I doubt it at the moment, but if it did, I would purchase it on Day One and get back into a series I used to love (Splinter Cell" Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory, and Double Agent).

Maybe in some kind of combo pack but don't get too excited for it. That game is pretty average.

It doesn't seem likely at this point.

I think most people have already forgotten about Conviction by now.

Nope. Shame cause I really enjoyed it. No other game has given me such a complete sense of playing with my opponents. Plus the co-op was pretty damn good.

Not likely. The game was a average at best. If you're a fan of the old SC then do yourself a favor and never play this one. Ubisoft really did a number on that one. Just look at how many versions this game had and see that Ubisoft dev team didn't know what the fuck they wanted out of it. Either that or the PR people got their clammy hands all over it and demanded the game to be CODified.

I don't think it would be worth it for them to do it.

@crono11: I don't see why not. I have no idea how much it cost to port a game to another console (not much I'm guessing) and if they put all the DLC on the disk they could sell it for $30-$40 easily.

i thought it was excellent. Can't go back and play MGS anymore coz' Snake can never move like Sam.

Shame that PS3 only owners can't experience this game.

if they were going to do it, i guess they would have done it by now. it's too bad, because it was a really cool game, despite the chasm of difference between it and the classic splinter cell games.
