Story
The legendary Megling Commandos are the oldest yordle military unit in League of Legends lore. Their reverence and respect can only be match with their proficiency in battle. A devasting force to be reckoned with, legends of the commandos and their founder inspires grandiose stories. Tristana was inspired by the Megling Commando stories and trained her entire life to join their ranks. When Tristana first entered the military her superiors noticed her incredible skills and was accepted. She joined the Ruby Bazookas due to her love of massive explosions, something that is common among Meglings. The Rubies are the heavy artillery squad of the Megling Commandos. Ruby Bazooka units normally work in teams of two but Tristana is proficient with a Megling cannon by herself, despite the fact it is two feet taller than she is. Although she superficially seems slightly maniacal, Tristanta is very upbeat. Her loyalty to the military is undeniable but when the Institute of War was called upon she joined in order to protect her people. |

Tristana costs 1350 Influence Points or 585 Riot Points (although many players simply unlock her for free by liking the League of Legends page on Facebook) and was added to the game on February 21, 2009.
Strategy
Tristana is a dps type character. She has massive damage output and can easily wipe out hordes of creeps. Towers fall easily to her if she is left unchecked. She can Rocket Jump over enemy lines and Buster Shot enemies into the ranks of her allies making her a devastating ganker. Although Tristana is powerful she has a low health and mana pool. This makes her a high risk/high reward character. She has a good escape mechanism with Rocket Jump but Tristana is still a very soft champion. At the later levels Tristana becomes one of the strongest source of damage for a team but can still be easily killed if left alone. The best way to utilize Tristana is to play safe and not be aggressive.
Abilities
(Innate): Tristana aims much more carefully, increasing her attack range with each level by 9 ( 153 at level 18) |
