    Overview

Twilight: 2000 is a strategy game developed by Paragon Software and published by MicroProse Software for the PC platform. The game is based off of the Twilight: 2000 rule-set created by Game Designers' Workshop in 1984. The game is set after World War III, which left many parts of the world under martial law.

The player commands a group of mercenaries whose mission is to overthrow a tyrant in Western Poland. This is accomplished mostly through turn-based tactical combat with up to 4 units at a time. This is broken up by real-time 3D driving and tank combat sequences, in which a large portion of Poland is mapped out in 3D.
