After graduating from the University of Auckland, Una began work as a temporary contractor at Rockstar North during the development of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the PlayStation 2. After the game shipped, she took on the role of development assistant, eventually working on Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for the PSP. Una, originally from New Zealand and unable to procure a new work visa, left Rockstar North (located in Edinburgh, Scotland) and went to work for Team Bondi as a script assistant on L.A. Noire, though she was uncredited.
She is currently a writer for Time Out Melbourne.
