So I got home tonight, ready to download the beta after work and after my two friends telling me, excitedly, that the beta was up. They hadn't played it yet but they got me excited to play. After downloading it and customizing my character, I get into a game and experience really bad lag. Apparently both of my friends had the same problem in every game they played. Anyone else getting this?

Yeah it's super laggy on the menu when that dumb video player is up too.

I haven't experiences this so much but when I get into a game it honestly hurts my eyes.

Yep. Terrible lag as well as hard lockups.  

Thank god it's not just my area. Well hopefully this will be fixed soon seeing as it's a beta. Speaking of which anyone know how long the beta lasts?

I don't have this demo, but it seems as if a lot of people are having some sort of connection problem with it.  

I was having terrible lag/framerate issues earlier, but its running rather smooth now, although i still get lockups here and there.

While the issues are a problem I like having them because I feel like I'm actually in a beta instead of a demo.

It was running just fine for me. Though I got a feeling the other players were lagging. They were playing suspiciously really really bad. At least in my first game.

Yeah by no means are issues unexpected. That's what betas are for.

It worked fine for me until I played on the map where there are cars and a plane moving. Then the FPS was like low as fuck.

As I said in another thread. I am waiting till this problem is resolved before I start playing again. When I did play a few matches though it was awesome, except the last match. The frame rate dropped into a unplayable low level and when I died my system freeze. It was the 4th time my system freeze. So I'm going to wait.

Did anyone get the "Sign second player in" function to work? Does it enable Split-screen online? 
Whenever I tried it I got an error #8010401 or something like that. 

I'm not really having lag problems (which is surprising because my internet is god-awful), but my damn PS3 has frozen 3 times now and the framerate is horrible the rest of the time. The first game or 2 I was in was fine though.

Just come off a 45 min session on it, no lag, no freezes.  It took longer than I'd like to join a game at times though.

not much lag just the game freezing but i guess this bet is a success then for stress testing at least

I bet that all this lag and locks are because of the insane amount of people that are playing. Remember that basically anyone can have access to the Beta early because of the free month of Plus.

Yeah my ps3 crashed 2 times . I think it might be the 10.1 patch
