I've been playing the Uncharted 3 beta for the last two days, and have been having a lot of fun with it. My question, though, is if you have seen any players above the level cap of 25. I've seen two guys today, both at level 29. It's weird.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I played against a kid who was at Level 31 and against others who were 27 and 29.

I thought the cap was 50...

I just got it for the first time and in my first ever match there were about 6 people level 28 and above. I got destroyed. I dont care what game it is, but if a game ever found a reliable matchmaking method it would be awesome!

Maybe they are from Naughty Dog.

The cap is 50. Though you will not unlock everything.

I'm at 25 and almost at 26, it just takes a lot of money and you don't really unlock anything after 25.

I'm at 29. The cap is far past 25. 
 
I don't think they ever said the level cap was 25, People just assumed that because they were giving out an avy for reaching lvl 25 that people assumed that was the cap.
 
You just don't unlock anything past that point or get any "exclusive content" when the game comes out for going past that point.
