    Vaelastrasz is the second boss in Blackwing Lair. He is corrupted by Nefarian.

    Vaelastrasz is a dragon of the Red Dragonflight. He is not evil, but is captive of Lord Nefarius a.k.a. Nefarian. In World of Warcraft, when the players engage the Vaelastrasz event, Nefarian corrupts Vaelastrasz and compels him to attack the group of adventurers, trying to impede their progress. Upon being defeated, Vaelastrasz apologizes for what he has done. At any point during the event, if a player is defeated by Vaelastrasz, he apologizes.
