Is Valve showing anything @ E3?
" Portal 2 for sure, hopefully Episode 3 or...dare I say it....Left 4 dead 3? >_> "Fixed.
Portal 2 is definitely being shown. I can only hope for Ep. 3 to be revealed at this point, but after two prior years of disappointment, I certainly won't hold my breath.
more ports of their games to the mac hopefully. i thought more of there stuff would be already released on the mac. eh, enjoying torchlight in the meantime.
When has Valve ever done more than one big franchise release a year? The Orange Box was the lone exception, though it is hard to call anything outside of TF2 a full game as Episode 2 was pretty much an add-on and the original Portal was an amazing product but ultimately one that was rushed and constructed almost entirely of recycled assets.
Portal 2 will be the only thing covered this year, if anything there may be another teaser for Episode 3.
Their middle finger and wallets.
But on a serious note, I think Portal 2 is a given and maybe Episode 3 assuming it still exists
" Counterstrike 2 "They are currently beta testing a major CS:S overhaul, including achievements, domination/revenge, MVP and stats to name a few changes. They have being testing for a while now, but no date set for the release of the update.
@topic: The latest news is that they canceled their Portal 2 showcase and have a "Surprise". My assumption is half life 3 which seems the most probable.
They won't show Portal 2 it seems but something else. Read:
Dear Subject Name Here,
Aperture Science is pleased to inform you that we have partnered with Valve to announce the gala CANCELLATION of the June 14 Portal 2 event at the Regal Theater. The event will be replaced by a surprise. And even though the cancellation of the event certainly counts as a surprise, we are pleased to further announce that the cancellation of the event is not THE surprise. However, per International treaties regarding the definition of the word "surprise", of which both Aperture Science and Valve are signatories, the time, date and content of the actual surprise will only become available as you experience the surprise.
If you'd like to ask fruitless questions about the E3 Portal 2 surprise or, more fruitfully, schedule an appointment to attend a Portal 2 screening at the Valve booth during E3, please contact Valve's Special Envoy to Surprises, Doug Lombardi.
Thank you for **RECORD SCRATCH!!!**
PS: The surprising record scratch is also not the surprise.
