Considering Borderlands eventually used Steamworks for achievements, it seems very likely they will use Steamworks for multiplayer as well for Borderlands 2.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this. I just hope Gearbox adds crafting and/or gun customization since that was the one major thing missing from Borderlands.

Meh..when a game "looks" exactly as the first one i get the feeling its just a $60 expansion pack (hello fallout NV )... well i guess re use all assets is a quick cashcow.

I honestly didnt get Borderlands, I played it for a pretty long time and I felt pretty bored. The draw was supposed to be all the games? Except theres variation between them is boring and not creative.

Gun that shoots firebullets, then gun that shoots fire bullets a little faster. Ice bullets. etc

So, do I just make out the check to Gearbox? Will someone please take my money now so I can have this game?

So Aliens: Colonial Marines, Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 and Borderlands 2 all slated for a 2012 release? I guess Gearbox consists of 87 bazillion employees and a bitch ain't one. I had loads of fun with Borderlands, but it wasn't exactly the pinnacle of fine-tuned game design.

Really don't get why Borderlands was so good. It was OK at best.

This is shoddy trailering. Just yesterday I was told no trailer existed.

I played it for 30 hours before reaching that conclusion too. The loot was the hook that kept me entertained, but it was ultimately a very boring game with very little thought required. (makes sense to me that Jeff liked it so much)

Borderlands 2: Double the Guns.

Varied environments in the teaser trailer, even. Nice.

Glad I finally finished the first one.

I'm not really sure why they bother with these kind of stupidly short and content empty videos.

That said, I wish the art style would have gotten a bit of a revamp, still doesn't look very good to me.

You would have to be an idiot to purchase this game day 1. Borderlands had 40$ worth of DLC, 2 of them came with the malicious SONY SECUrom messing up people's computers and all for a shallow herp-derp fest of horrible cell-shaded art, non-existent story, and childish humor.

Could never get into Borderlands the whole thing is a major snore fest.. seems like 2 isn't going to be any different.
