People keep talkin smack about this game and its premise. Im excited about this because of how bizarre it is!

Its similar to a lot of small passion projects on itch.io, rpgmaker.net, gamejolt, etc. except it's made by a millionaire rapper. I can't help but need to play this game. Whatever it is.

Didn't this get shown last year? Like, maybe there were 2-3 seconds of new footage, Maybe, I couldn't tell cause it all looked really familiar.

(My crazy theory is The Guest everybody keeps alluding to and was mentioned on the Beastcast last week is Kanye.)

Ah man, this is awesome. In case people aren't aware, Kanye was really close to his mom, who died a few years ago from a cosmetic surgery complication. Her death really signaled his turn into the more abrasive, unpredictable Kanye we know today - watching interviews, you can see it clearly destroyed him. He wrote the song Hey Mama in her honour, and now this.

I'm sad that people are being cynical about this or calling Kanye an egotist over it. I would love to be able to make a video-game about my mom if anything happened to her.

You mean Stormare.

Which makes it nothing like the games on the aforementioned services, because it's not made by one dude in his spare time.

I don't know what to make of Kanye West.

With the whole Yeezus thing, his bizarre ego trips, his absurdly lavish lifestyle, self-aggrandising entrepreneurship and apparently resulting debt, and most of all, his painful absolute sincerity about how fucking great every though that goes through his head is. This all seems at odds with the heavy-handed Christian imagery going on here.

It's almost as if, rather than live by or espouse what most people would define as Christian values, his vanity is absolute and he just assumes he and everyone he loves must be destined to become the exalted angels of God. Because Yeezy is in the house, or something? But then again I don't know his beliefs, so maybe I'm being a little presumptuous here. Also, as an atheist, who am I to criticise his appropriation of this imagery?

At the end of the day, this doesn't really seem like a game, and the imagery seems generic, tasteless, and frankly, a little nauseating.

I wonder if this is some sort of .. Endless runner? to talk very mechanically about this personal passion thing.

I think it's sort of neat for himself, but i don't see where the appeal lies for the audience.

I don't fucking know. It sure looks purdy though.

So I have a confession to make. I've listened to the leaked version of this from his fashion show on repeat before. For like a week straight. The music is fantastic. Not sure what kind of a game this is, but the art and animation aint the worst I've seen by far. I really do enjoy this music though.

Were those annoying hard cuts to black supposed to be for dramatic effect? Was that trailer supposed to be dramatic? I'm so confused here.
