I agree that it looks frustrating and I think it probably shouldn't have any place in this type of game, necessarily. But it is a mechanic that was in Theme Hospital, for better or worse (rats would show up and you had to click on them). So it's not without precedent.

It was 110% optional in Theme Hospital and was just a fun little hidden easter egg that you could shoot the rats. I imagine it's the same here.

AGREED! :D I really wanna like two point hospital but the style they won't for isn't grabbing right off the bat.
