E3 2019: Time for a Status Report on Halo Infinite

Woof. I am a huge Halo fan and this trailer was supremely disappointing. Last year's trailer told us more about the game than this.

Hope we don't have to wait until next E3 for gameplay.

Haven’t played Halo since 4 on the 360, but I still get chills seeing that big green boy when the music kicks in.

@moda: I wanted something more substantial than another tone-piece. I don't need gameplay, but any bit of story would have been nice.

It reminds me a lot of the initial Halo 2 reveal trailer, with Chief jumping out of the hangar. Except with that trailer, we immediately knew what the setting of the game was going to be and what we were going to be doing.

In this trailer they posed a bunch of questions without answering anything. Maybe they just announced the game too early. If this had been the first reveal I probably would have reacted differently. But for some reason I expected more, and maybe that's on me.

@moda: Something about the phrase "If you didn't like this commercial, you're not a REAL fan of [Product]!" comes off Suuuuper scummy, my dude.

I don't get it at all?

I, personally, don't want more than this about the story for the closing of another trilogy. Tone is all the trailer should go for, much like the Endgame trailers.
