Cool narrative framing device, but unfortunately I don't want to even touch another Borderlands game ever again. Borderlands overload.

Juvenile sarcasm aside, I honestly am completely baffled at this reaction. I thought Tiny Tina was pretty awesome.

Seriously though I don't think I can forgive Gearbox for their recent asshattery with Colonial Marines and the despicable Borderlands 2 Season Pass thing.

Tiny Tina, like most of BL2, just didn't work for me.

Having not played Borderlands2, what's the deal with Tiny Tina?

She's African American youngster/tween satire taken all the way to the deep end.

And she's great.

If by great you mean literally the worst part about the game then sure.

I'm actually looking forward to this after reading up on it on Polygon but I really dislike Tiny Tina. She is she Ashley cranked all the way up to annoying levels but she did have an interesting story arch in the game. I also wasn't a fan of Handsome Jack either.

Wow, you pretty much summed up why I absolutely hated the story bits of BL2. I really like the actual game play, but the game is just over saturated with terrible unfunny memes. I can't wait for destiny to come out since it seems like it's borderlands without terrible grating characters or jokes.

So I'll probably play this on mute. Tiny Tina is fucking terrible.

This is one of the main reasons I never sought this game out to play.

I don't get the hate! Tiny Tina is ok. I mean damn if it bothers you that much just turn the volume down. I usually play borderlands on mute while I listen to podcasts anyway.

Replace Tiny Tina with Handsome Jack and you'd be correct, since he was the absolute worst.

I think both characters were designed to be annoying in their own rights. So to me it looks like they both did their jobs well.

I have a gut feeling that most people who like Tiny Tina have at one point owned a "You laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same" shirt

man, the whole tiny tina hate thing is weird, i don't get it, unless... the haters are actually all really young, and all a bit too close to the source material, and all a bit like tiny tina themselves, and that's why it hurts.

Good joke? Chuckle and have good time.
Bad joke? Don't turn off them game forever and demonize the writer and the voice actor.

The fact that any of Tiny Tina's lines were written is the real tragedy. She's basically skinny honey boo boo.

It's funny, yes. Why does it make you so angry that I think it's well written?
We're talking about a game with the main focus being lots of guns and comedy, and it delivers on that.

I laughed way more at the stuff Tina said than any of the stuff Marcus, Jack, Zed, or any other character in the game said.

Also her story and backstory? yeah, it's pretty good.
Wouldn't expect anyone here to get it, obviously because, I mean, look where we're talking right now, right?

In what way was the Season Pass despicable? The full game is rather long and all of the DLC's have been good to great so far and add vast ammounts of gameplay? Combined they would add up to at least a traditional add-on which would probably cost you ... 30 Bucks?

This looks really stupid in a really fun way. Why's everyone so angry about this?

This is great, and I don't even like Borderlands. A shame this isn't stand-alone like Blood Dragon. I'd get it.

@2headedninja: It's heinous because they sell the season pass to you and then release additional DLC later on which is not covered by the season pass.

You get exactly what they said you would get, so what did you expect?

Is this the new thing? In-game narrator who gets to change things on the fly? Seems like I've heard of several games doing this kind of thing at the moment.

@2headedninja: I expect a season pass to include all DLC. That's what season passes are for.

Turning it into this is just shady business.

I seem to recall the original Borderlands did this with Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, long before it became a thing.

I really liked Tiny Tina so I'm looking forward to this. Maybe it'll actually get me to finish Borderlands 2

Yay, Tiny Tina! I'll probably play through this once, just to experience it, but I can't find any other reason to come back to this game unless they fix the loot drops. And yes, I will bitch about this EVERY chance I get.

As someone who actually likes Tiny Tina, I am super duper pumped.

I had no problem with tiny tina, as a character my problem lies in the fact that, before it got released, it felt like "Hey I wrote the game, So why not just put my girfriend in it." I'm sure that happens all the time, but It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Also it was right after the whole thing exploded with the IGN/PsP girl in Mass Effect.

I never really got Boarderlands. I've always been a fan of Anthony and Ashley's stuff though so I checked out the TT part. It was pretty funny. Similarly this trailer was pretty (though it's more "mischievous smile" funny then "laugh out loud" funny I think). Still not gonna buy Boarderlands 2 for this.

Looks like the crew at Gearbox learned a thing or two from the new Call Of Juarez joint. I'm all for real-time changes to setting and plot, but maybe not when Tiny Tina is telling the story.

Oh and Roland's death is a big deal now?

I don't understand why some people don't like Tiny Tina. She was by far my favorite character in Borderlands 2 and I loved every second of her missions!

Tiny Tina is the worst character of the last few years. So setting an entire DLC around her is a great idea.

I think Tiny Tina is a pretty great character so setting an entire DLC around her is a great idea. I also played AD&D as a kid so that's a bonus.
