I don't know. I've downloaded this to see if it can hold a candle to the awesome shut up and jam gaiden. Too much exposure to Kanye manifests itself in me as a physical malady, though. Must tread lightly.

Nothing more than a failed attempt to capture the magic of Shut up and Jam. The illuminati symbolism at the end is the only thing making this game worth a damn.

Half as good as CBSUAJG = Your average RPG Maker game. I hope this is just as good, otherwise I don't care.

Edit: Yup, this looks like a bad game trying to squeeze by on pop culture references alone. Can we move away from this shit? That's one of the main reasons why the aughts were so awful.

Seems to lack a lot of the charm and care that Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden has, but I'll give it a shot at some point and see.

Also, Deltron Event II WHERE? I keep hearing it may actually drop in October, but...well...I've been waiting YEARS now.

For a moment I was afraid I was going to watch the whole video without a single Deltron 3030 reference. Fortunately we got ourselves a Deltron Zero NPC, too bad I didn't see any Dan the Automator or Kid Koala (Vancouver Reppin') references.

Just from hearing "Power" done like that has me sold. I need this on my hard drive!

Kind of a sad rip off of Barkley but could still be kind of cool. The hacked together RPG Maker & Chrono Trigger sprite jacking type stuff just doesn't work for Kanye like it did for Barkley, on account of how Kanye being a guy who on all of his albums establishes a strong sense of style and atmosphere, and the battle system doesn't look very clever mechanically either. There's this inherent goofiness you can get behind with Barkley when the game is a supposed sequel to Space Jam and all that. They ended up porting the game to Game Maker and expanding it and making a good game outside of the initial hilarious notion of just "What if we made a game called Barkley Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden". While this does seem to be a bit silly too, it is just a bit tough to buy. It's too bad this doesn't have a couple notches up in production value(can't blame him really though it would have been better to be even lower-res than crummy RPG maker style), but I'll check it out regardless.

This is nowhere near as good as Shut Up and Jam Gaiden but it is up there with Baby's First RPG Maker Game.
