Exactly the same feeling I got. Didn't fill give me that glee-fuelled smirk I was wearing constantly throughout Hot Pursuit.

Why have they brought back the player's car from most wanted? Seems totally bizarre to me XD

@Gatehouse: Do you think some of that glee is from nostalgia?

For me, the original Hot Pursuit on PS1 was one of my favorite games, which I think might be why I liked last years games so much.

@GetWhatYagive:Maybe, but I'd never played any of the other Need For Speed games, they'd never appealed to me to be honest. Was really the Criterion connection that got me in, so it could be Burnout nostalgia.

The demo's good. Sadly it's not Hot Pursuit driving physics, which is pretty much like classic Ridge Racer with 100% drifting at top speed. Proper breaking and cornering matters. Not my favorite, but it's fun too. Hope the optional 'simulation' settings make it more exciting, because for a game where breaking and cornering matters, it doesn't matter enough with vanilla physics.

Frostbite 2 elevates it presentationally by quite a few notches, especially thanks to its extraordinary sound effects.

the bmw m3 is the bmw m3 from nfs most wanted wondering if there is a hook up from the first one. i know it is inspired by most wanted. havent been keeping up with any info on this game but looks good

No PC demo.. why.. I was pretty hot about this, I wanted a reason to get a driving wheel and something besides my one love Midnight Club 2 (start laughing) to drive, and then, no PC demo..

Super excited for this after playing the demo. This might finally be the year that I get into driving games, thanks to Dirt 3, Forza 4, and now this
