I'm really glad the kickstarter worked. Horror games as a whole are not my thing but I kinda root for the developper of this one.

i got to play this a little bit at PAX East and i was immediately hooked. cant wait for this one

Hmm, this reminds me a bit of The Cat Lady. Not a lot of horror games done in this style, I'm looking forward to this.

It was so crazy. Intentionally haven't really followed this game at all since contributing, excited to play it and for Scoops to do the same in October!

Reminds me a lot of the art from Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. So I'm pretty terrified right now.

I wasn't able to contribute to the KS at the time but I'm glad the community here and others were able to help this game happen. I was surprised that it really did come so close though after being posted about on several gaming news sites I visit and it wasn't until Matt Gilgenbach was on a Bombin' The AM that I found out how it still had to make close half of what he needed for it to be successful with only a short time left.

@patrickklepek turned me on to this game at PAX Prime 2013. I couldn't even make it through the PAX demo. Immediately went home and backed it when I got home. Can't wait!

The real horror is that this is coming to the Ouya.

But seriously: so far, this looks more gore and jump scare kind of horror. I hope it's more than that, given the blurb.

Love the Edward Gorey-inspired style taken to new gory extremes. Love the detail of the art. Very happy to hear their kickstarter was successful and they are getting some attention. I probably couldn't play this myself (too much stuff being ripped out of arms) but definitely would watch Spookin' with Scoops or something.

This takes "Alexander and the no good horrible terrible very bad day" to another level completely.

I like the art. Not really knowing anything for terms, it's what I reference East Coast/British Gothic. Reminds me of some dark inked panel drawings I paged through when young. One showed a cocaine-addicted man waiting to club a child passing where he was skulking.

Not pulling many punches and no humor. This I will probably get, but I do not know how much I will actually play.
