Really surprised at how deep this thing goes. Looks like a dumbass toy, but the ability to export in midi makes this thing a whole lot more interesting.

There was a piece of homebrew similar to this (just not nearly as polished) early in the PSP's life that I had a lot of fun with, as simple as it was. This actually sounds kind of interesting. Wonder if they'll try to shoehorn any stupid sort of game structure into it, or if it'll just be a toolset.

I wouldn't count any of those as "Makers of Music". What they essentially made from that preview was a crappy 8 beat loop that a 4 year old could do in Fruity Loops.... aaaand I hate Fruity Looops >:(

Finally, a tool to make Hip-Hop music easily!  I've tried before, but it takes so much time...  Like, sometimes five whole minutes! 
 
Seriously, hip hop music takes nearly no effort to make these days...  I suppose you could buy this if it's actually too hard for you.
