Watching this for the third time. Still my favorite video series on the site!

That triumphant Kings Quest MIDI music is so goofy and out of place, it's fantastic.

Man oh man do I miss this duo... Dave and Vinny, your duet legacy will live on forever.

I love Giant Bomb as it is today, but in my humble opinion, this was during the golden years of Giant Bomb.

This is incredible. Vinny seems more restrained these days, after watching this. So good.

God, they really need to bring content like this back. Idk what Dave is doing these days, but if you get Vinny & Alex grinding through mid-90's PC adventure games on the regular again, I'd dump my paycheck into this site as thanks.

In my opinion It is irrefutable that this was the golden years, though I loathe Giant Bomb as it is today.

Well now you get to enjoy the lazy and awful mess that is Unprofessional Fridays. Back when Vinny was still on the west coast there would be 20 minute segments dedicated to a random PC game, and it was wasted on that show.

Hey remember when that thing I like changed a little and now it isn't that exactly like that thing I liked before so I hate it now. Grrrrr.

This video is great. Things they do now are great. Giant Bomb is great. Maybe not always, but you try being consistent for 8 years.

Hmmh...Contradiction QL brought me here once again, but I just watched this for the xth time, like, only a month or so ago. I think I'll have to resist and wait a few more months before doing so...

But boy would I love for RPG to return!

Finally watching this (have a big backlog of old GB stuff from when I wasn't a premium member). Phantasmagoria gets a bad deal in my opinion. It didn't do everything marvellously but it was unique in many respects. Because it did so many controversial things it has kind of overshadowed the game itself. Looking forward to Part 2!

not as good as p4 but still fun amazed they missed the deaths in first part as well or could you not die in these early chapters? Seems like the electric chair could have killed you at least.

I really hope Dave randomly shows up for a choose our own adventure someday.

Revisiting this classic after Puzzle of Flesh. Hard to believe this was over 4 years ago.

Still one of my favorite things they've done on this site. Kind of interesting to hear them make some comments you'd never hear on modern giant bomb. Times change I guess.

Came back after Phantasmogoria 2 playdates, and I'm coming back again. I hope FMVinny becomes a real thing eventually, with full playthroughs, one, so we can the whole damn thing, and two, so they don't run out of material.

I love coming back and rewatching all the random PC game videos once every few months.

One of my favorites; I always love a good FMV adventure game.

The "actor" that plays Don may have given the worst performance I have ever seen in a video game. And that says a lot.

I'll get your fucking pizza-guy from Tender Loving Care is a close contender.

Yeah, I'd say just about any of the three main leads from Tender Loving Care is worse. (John Hurt still turns in a good performance, and the receptionist was fine for what she had to do.) But on the other hand, it might be really generous to call TLC an actual "video game".

@tothenines: I didn't get really into Giant Bomb until 2019 or so, and yes, I have no idea who Dave is. But anyone who'll play an FMV game with Vinny is alright in my books.
