I don't think anyone has said this yet so I will. I believe they put this up because of the recently Interactive Punch-Out! clip on Youtube. If I'm not misstaken they use a slamman as the punchingbag. I guess Ryan recognized the Slamman. That's my guess because otherwise it would be amazingly random and wierd.
