The gameplay is great and what you expect from a turn based strategy game which is settled in a fantasy world. It's not as deep as other titles in the genre but we also have to keep in mind that the price is fairly low with 20 €. The interface is slim but it fulfills it's task. But there are also some things missing which could make the management of your empire easier. In example, you don't have a statistic screen for all your armies, cities and so on, you can't automate stuff and have to order...

I bought this game off of steam yesterday, after playing the demo for a couple of hours. Right now I am about 8 hours into it with approximately 130 turns. Put a sword and sorcery twist on the Civilization formula.Warlock: Masters of the Arcane is the latest PC game entry by Paradox Interactive.
