Rage of Mages is a role-playing / real-time strategy hybrid game for the PC, developed by Nival Interactive and published by Monolith Prodictions in the US. It was first released in Russia under the name Allods: Sealed Mystery.
The game is played from a top-down perspective, like most strategy games, and the player is represented by a hero unit, which can be either a warrior or a mage. Throughout the game, you will meet and recruit various companions, collect equipment, and participate in real-time tactical battles using a mix of melee, ranged and magic. Throughout the course of the campaign, a variety of mission types are presented, from standard "kill all enemies" missions, to more specific ones such as escort missions and treasure hunts.
