    Overview

Coin Crypt is a rogue-like deck-building adventure game developed and published by Dumb & Fat Games for the PC and Mac platforms. In it, the player selects one of 19 possible lootmancers to venture into the woods, collecting coins and using those coins to cast spells, such as Shield, Steal Coin, or Hit 4 against enemies in magical duels. Loot from chests and enemies also become your next moves, which means one has to plan carefully. Levels are randomly generated, and there is permadeath; at the end of each run, players can put the money they earned into unlocking a new selectable lootmancer, with some examples being the Fairy, the Wizard, the Monkey, and so on, each with their own set of skills.

The game was inspired by Terry Cavanagh's Nexus City prototype, Spelunky by Derek Yu, and the card game Dominion.
