    Overview

Aisle Lord is a first-person, party-based dungeon crawler released exclusively for the Japanese Mega-CD. It is unusual for the genre in that the player's party is visible at the bottom of the screen, and can be moved around to interact with objects and people in scenes like an adventure game.

The game uses a hybrid turn-based/real-time combat system that the player can pause and direct at intervals. To do this, the player gives commands for their characters to follow, such as moving to a particular space or fighting a specific enemy. The player can also leave characters on an automatic setting, which will have them move and seek out enemies on their own.
